About the Glosters! - Gary, Sara and Jess!

Gary Boon... Born In Gloucester, England I live In Longlevens Gloucester, with Sara and our son James. I have a full time job as a Telephone engineer. I started swing dancing in 1996 and have been teaching since 1999. I have been dj'ing at dances for 6 years and am known as 'The Duke' behind the decks. Top jive DJ Jon Brett gave me the name, It comes from the song 'Swinging with the Duke'. Away from dance I am a great collecter of music, especially of the "Punk" era. Once a punk, always a punk!

Sara Boon... Born in Winchcombe, Gloucestershire . I Live with Gary and our son James and I work part time in local government (someone has to!). Gary and I started dancing and teaching together, and it has become a life changing experience. We share the passion for dancing and also the ups and downs that seem to go with it. We have been fortunate enough to meet the most fantastic people whilst dancing, teaching and travelling, they make it all worthwhile. We were thrilled to win the coveted title of "UK Lindy Hop Champions 2004/2005".

Jessica Dunn... Born in Anglesey a long time ago!. I settled in Gloucester in 1990 with my husband Stuart and our sons Ritchie & Michael. I work in a top salon in Cheltenham as a Director Stylist. Gary & Sara taught Stuart and me to dance in 2000 and we have enjoyed it ever since. I have been teaching beginners with Gary since 2004. I thoroughly enjoy the teaching side especially as when I started, I wasn't a natural dancer.
